Dear Tracks,

Yes, we definitely think we got our money’s worth! The camaraderie was outstanding as were the meals and the briefings and Milepost Guide!

A highlight was the feeling of “Family” displayed so many times on our Alaskan Adventure! We lobed the many gestures of helpfulness – telling us when we forgot our steps, to put the antenna down, supplying medical equipment, giving us rides when it was too wet for the scooter. All the wildlife in Denali, the Salmon Bake, the puffin views, ice cream stops, cinnamon rolls; etc.

The only event we felt could be improved was Dawson City. The weather and the inadequate sidewalks made it very uncomfortable. I realize you can’t control the weather. Musk Ox Farm was messed up also due to the rain.

We chose Tracks because friends had gone two to three years ago and loved it.

Yes, we’d consider another Tracks tour but we’re not sure at the present time. He’s facing surgery in mid October.

July 11, 2008 40-day Alaska tour (now the 45-day tour)

Dear Tracks,

Yes, we feel we got our money’s worth. We saw a lot and did a lot of interesting things. This was our 4th trip.

Highlights—how do you highlight the beauty of Canada and Alaska—majestic mountains, beautiful scenery, wild animals.Eagles, bears, moose, a lynx, and many other animals! Wonderful wagon masters, great new friends, sharing daily sights at the end of a travel day. Mt. Denali in full display for us to see.

Some of the campgrounds were tight. You felt like you were able to reach out and touch your next door neighbor.

We chose Tracks because of three previous trips and the possibility to see animals and the beauty of our country. The wonderful leadership of two grrrreeaatt wagon masters!

July 3, 2007, 40-day Alaska tour (now the 45-day tour)

Dear Tracks,

Yes, we feel we received our money’s worth. It was a great trip which was well-planned. We felt Tracks was supportive, and we never felt alone. We made great friends, five of which we have already stopped by to see, and the wagon masters and assistants were wonderful. They cared about us and always went the extra mile to be there for us.

Our highlight was Mt. McKinley in full view! We also enjoyed the unique glacier tours, the halibut dinner, having a reservation and not having to worry about it, the ease of travel, friends we made, and the fact that we went to some places we wouldn’t have on our own.

An improvement may be to add the Yukon train out of Skagway as a part of the package instead of as an optional event.

We went with Tracks to Alaska because of their reputation.

We are considering another tour with Tracks; possibly the Viking or one to Mexico.
