Wagon Master Opportunities

Tracks was established in 1975 and runs about 45 RV tours each year, about half of which are to Mexico.

Tracks has an organized evaluation and training program for wagon master contractors consisting of; (1) resume evaluation, (2) interviews; (3) an initial training seminar at El Paso sometimes crossing into Mexico, (4) on-the-job training/evaluation during trainee, assistant, and wagon master contracts, and (4) annual training seminars at El Paso for experienced wagon masters.

Tracks is the leader in many aspects of the RV tour industry and has a reputation for excellence. Because of this we attract talented and experienced couples to qualify for active bidder status for Tracks wagon master contracts. If selected, you will be among the best.

Tracks directors have held their positions since 1980 and personally led 14 Mexico Copper Canyon tours. One Tracks wagon master contractor has been with the company over 18-years, some couples have over 50 tours each, and two of the office staff have been with the company more than a decade.

Tracks offers a high level of wagon master support, including training, mutual support among wagon masters, and a sophisticated home-office operation.

Tracks wagon master contractors are independent contractors, in business for themselves. They provide their own equipment, office space, and sign a contract for each tour run. Contract fees are reported end-of-year on IRS Form 1099, and rig expenses, including depreciation and getting to and from a tour may be tax-deductible. Check with your accountant and the Internal Revenue Service.
